Bayou City Play is a group of playworkers, artists, and therapists who advocate for child-directed play opportunities in the Houston-metro area.

We provide introductory presentations on child-directed play and playwork, as well as consulting on playground assessment and custom design.

We are a passionate group of child advocates from many disciplines, but united in our hope that children gain more time, space and safety to play.

Our team is trained in playwork, a professional approach developed on UK adventure playgrounds, but practiced far and wide.
